just wanted to let you know that 2 of the ladies who ran ogden will be running Ut Valley too. They will probably be 6 hourish but don't know for sure.

So Chris has talked to ya about going to Bryce Canyon and running the half - a girls only weekend. That will be fun. I am excited to run that race again - it was my first ever run ALL the way race. It's a beautiful run too. Then we can go hiking in Bryce canyon.

You ran a 2:17 half - that's what i did in Moab ...... so how is that now my pace :) I wish my first halfs were that fast.......

the "stuff" (perpet stuff) is supposed to help with recovery and endurance I think - he told me once but I forgot. The other stuff he hasn't told me about before. Its made by Hammer and some of it he swears by. He also uses recoverite after a run to aid in recovery but I think it's gross so I haven't used it much - and haven't tried the perpeteum stuff either. I think I will try adding water to my gu though in the flask so it comes out easier.

I haven't bee nrunning much the last week either. I did just under 2 hours the week you and chris did the half in riverton and my leg really started bothering me - a pain I hadn't really had before. so I did about 30 min on the treadmill on Monday - that was too much. Then thur I did only about 20 min before I started having problems. I did some research and I think it's IT band problems but up in my hip. So I've been doing some exercises/stretches for it. took saturday off (was supposed to do a half in provo-but it was really snowing down here plus with my leg - it made a good excuse). I was supposed to do 65 mi today - did just over 60 with minimal problems - more like tight muscles instead of pain. so I think the exercises have helped.

You could probably be ready for Utah Valley Marathon in June. You are probably running abut the same pace I am. Dan has written me up a schedule for the whole summer to get in all the mary's for the grand slam. But with the base you have right now I'd think you're good to go for Utah Valley. I'll have to send you a copy of it.

there will be afield to enter the group email address.... I will prob have a group.... And chris said she already has 4 in her group.... I kind of assumed u were one of those.... Only can do 5 in a group..... And my hubby might be running so that would be too many for chris' group..... Plus I am doing the grand slam so I have to sign up a bit diff.... But anyway if u weren't in chris' group you can join mine.... I will be using dmndldy@gmail as the group email.
